Curriculum Builder

The Curriculum Builder lets admins and teachers design structured academic programs with courses, modules, and sections.

Structure

Programs follow a nested hierarchy:

Program
 └── Course
      └── Module
           └── Section (lesson)

Programs

The top-level container. Example: "Secondary Mathematics", "Primary Science".

Courses

Subjects within a program. Example: "Algebra", "Geometry", "Statistics".

Modules

Topic groups within a course. Example: "Linear Equations", "Quadratics", "Polynomials".

Sections

Individual lessons within a module. Sections can include:

• Text content
• PDF attachments
• Links to resources
• Embedded media

Creating a curriculum

1. Navigate to Programs from the sidebar
2. Click "Create program"
3. Add courses within the program
4. Add modules within each course
5. Add sections within each module
6. Attach materials (PDFs, documents)
7. Finalize when ready to publish

Finalizing

Once a program is finalized:

• It becomes visible to assigned teachers and students
• Teachers can create lessons based on the curriculum structure
• Content is locked from further editing (unfinalize to edit)

Who can build

• School Admins — create and manage programs
• Teachers — can create courses and add content within assigned programs
