Resources & Books

The Resources module is a digital library for books, assignments, and learning materials.

Books

Students browse and read books from the school library.

Supported formats: EPUB and PDF

Reading features:

• In-book navigation with table of contents
• Reading progress tracking
• AI integration (summarize, explain, quiz) available inline while reading
• Dark/light reading mode

Book access:

• Public books are visible to all (including guests)
• School books are visible to enrolled students
• Class books are visible to students in the specific class

Document Explorer

The document explorer organizes uploaded materials in folders.

Who uploads: Teachers and Admins

Who accesses: Students (materials relevant to their classes)

Features:

• Folder-based organization
• PDF viewer with zoom, page navigation, and snip tool
• AI actions on document sections (summarize, explain, create quiz)
• Outline panel showing document structure

Resource tabs

Students access resources through the Resources tab in their sidebar:

1. Books — library of available books
2. Assignments — all assignments from teachers
3. External Reading — supplementary materials
4. Practice — quizzes and exercises

Uploading materials

Teachers and admins upload materials from the Resources page:

1. Navigate to Resources
2. Create or select a folder
3. Upload files (PDF, DOCX, EPUB supported)
4. Assign to specific classes if needed
