Navigating Schoolence

Layout

The interface has three main areas:

1. Sidebar (left) — Menu navigation based on your role
2. Top Navbar — Global controls and utilities
3. Main Content — Where you work

The sidebar is resizable — drag its right edge to adjust the width (72px minimum, 400px maximum).

Sidebar

The sidebar shows menu items based on your role:

• Teachers see: Home, Classes, Lessons, Exams, Assignments, Attendance, Results, and more.
• Students see a tab switcher: Dashboard (schedule, grades) and Resources (books, materials).
• Admins see school management options including Teachers, Students, Parents, and Analytics.
• Parents see focused views: Attendance, Results, and Communication.

Click any menu item to navigate to that section.

Top Navbar

The navbar includes (from left to right):

Control	Purpose
Sidebar toggle	Collapse or expand the sidebar
Country selector	Switch between countries/regions
Language switcher	Change the interface language
Theme toggle	Switch between light and dark mode
Search	Search across the platform
Messages	Access your inbox
Notifications bell	View alerts (unread count shown as badge)
Profile dropdown	Account settings, help, subscriptions, logout

Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner to access:

• Profile settings — Edit personal info and preferences
• Messages — Jump to your inbox
• Help — Access documentation and support
• Subscription — Manage your plan and billing
• Invoices — View payment history
• Lock screen — Lock your session
• Logout — Sign out securely
